Deciphering plant-microbe interactions for sustainable crop production

Workshop of the Effectome and Resistance Networks

« Effectome » and « Resistance », two French scientific networks, organize from Tuesday 12th  to Friday 15th of September 2017 in Banyuls sur Mer, France a joint workshop dealing with the many facets of the interaction between plants and their associated pathogenic or beneficial microbes. Particular emphasis will be put on microbial invasion strategies, plant receptors and signaling and the impact of the abiotic environment on interactions, and this from a molecular, cellular, genetics as well as an organism perspective. Research from molecular biology, genetics, genomics or population genetics approaches will be presented in plenary presentations and poster sessions. Strategies to use knowledge on plant-microbe interactions for sustainable crop production will be examined and discussed. With this broad program, the workshop will bring together diverse research communities and stimulate interdisciplinary exchange.
